Interloper, 200 tons.

EIC Voyages: (1) 1604/5 Bantam. Expedition commanded by Sir Edward Michelborne. He received a Royal licence on the 25th June, 1604 - left Cowes with Tiger's Whelp Pinnace 5 December 1604 - 8 April 1605 Cape - 25 July Coast of Sumatra - 13 August Priaman - 28 October Bantam - Left for Pattani 2 November.  Sir Edward Michelborne behaved like a pirate towards the Dutch and was himself attacked by Japanese pirates.  The pilot John Davis killed. The ship was not lost but the voyage was abandoned.  They arrived back at Portsmouth on the 9 July, 1606 .
